In line with the aims of the original team, Fidlers Fancy carry on the tradition of collecting and performing for local and national charities, as well as undertaking professional bookings and dancing at national festivals. 

A typical year can involve street performances in and around the Stockport area, supporting charitable organisations, hosting other morris teams, summer evenings dancing out with other local morris teams at pub venues, demonstrations for visitors to the region, corporate events, birthday parties, etc. and representing the North West and United Kingdom at folk events.

WANTED - Musicians and dancers
We are looking for new musicians and dancers.
​Both men and  women are welcome to join as dancers and musicians.
Please come along to discover morris dancing. It is good fun, good exercise and there is good company!
